Conversations about Suicide - Mental Health First Aid Course

Having a Conversation May Save a Life – Would You Know What to Say? Learning to safely talk about suicide can lead to life-saving prevention and intervention. Conversations about Suicide is a half-day course that equips adults with the knowledge, skills and confidence to recognise, understand and respond to a friend, family member, co-worker or other person, experiencing suicidal thoughts and behaviours. As Licensed Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Instructors, Pamela Seraskeris and Geraldine McKay are committed to improving outcomes for people experiencing mental health problems and equipping others with the skills needed to intervene early. This course is recognised by Suicide Prevention Australia as a safe, high-quality, and effective suicide prevention program. The course fee of $210 per person includes a course manual.
