I focus on Narrative Therapy, Somatic Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Client focused, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Somatic
As a social worker and counsellor with 15 years experience, I’ve created my practice so you can come as you are, to have authentic conversations about life, loss and grief. I want to acknowledge that making the decision to start therapy is a courageous step. My approach is gentle and understanding, and our conversations are without filter. All of you is welcome here and you can share any and all of what you are feeling, because I understand that grief is hard and messy and complicated. I specialise in providing counselling for people facing significant loss. Together we can navigate the complexity of how to integrate the experiences you’ve had into your life and allow you to experience moments of calm and peace amidst your sorrow. Working within the Coronial System for six years, I supported families who experienced the sudden, unexpected or traumatic death of a loved one. Prior to this, I worked in hospital settings in oncology, haematology, palliative care and paediatric bereavement. My experience, both personally and professionally, with sudden death, loss and grief, and bereavement allows me to hold space with safety and reverence. I am passionate about working with parents, particularly supporting mothers who are navigating their journey to starting a family, early parenting challenges, the changes in identity that come with motherhood, pregnancy after loss and mothering through loss. Acknowledging the complex and life changing nature of parenting, I hold space for you to explore these issues authentically and without judgement. Come as you are. I look forward to meeting you.
