I am a registered counsellor who changed careers to follow my passion for helping people become the best version of themselves. As a bilingual counsellor, speaking both English and Arabic, I’ve gained valuable skills from my studies and training. I’ve had the chance to work with many clients, learning from them as much as I’ve helped them. My life experiences also shape how I connect with clients. As a partner, I understand the ups and downs of relationships, and as a parent, I know the joys and challenges of raising children. I use this understanding to support clients dealing with similar issues. Being a migrant and a minority has given me insight into the cultural, social, and systemic challenges people face. This helps me provide culturally sensitive support to clients from all backgrounds. I see my personal experiences as strengths, which I combine with my counselling skills to make a positive impact on those I work with.
